A wonderful night for all of those in attendance
The town of Pontyclun, Wales had the honour of hosting this year's Switchee Awards Ceremony. On the 16th of May 2024 a Thursday evening in Pontyclun turned into a night of glamour and celebration. In the world of smart home technology at least. The Vale Resort was the setting for the evening's spectacle, and it didn't let down. In fact, it could easily have been confused for a Hollywood film premier event based on the buzz in the air and the classy clobber on show as the guests arrived.
Project Heating Solutions proud to be a part of this event
Project Heating Solutions was extremely proud and honoured to be a part of an event that brings together Industry leaders and innovators from the smart home technology sector. And an event that demonstrates the huge advancements taking place in our field. The Keynote speaker Dr. Elena Harris gave a compelling speech on the importance of the role that smart home technology must play in combating climate change. It was a speech that summed up perfectly what we stand for at Project Heating Solutions and why we are aiming to contribute to a greener future through creative heating solutions.
We were also immensely proud to be a part of a night that raised a sum of £1,200 for Bowel Cancer UK.
Awards for Project Heating Solutions
The centrepiece of the night was of course, the handing out of awards and PHS was absolutely delighted to see two of our very own being recognised for their hard work:
Serran Daly Hall: Best Project Manager
Serran fully deserved this award as recognition for her superb leadership. Her high standards, utter commitment, adaptability and determination to continuously deliver helped to set her apart. Serran has been involved in many successful projects at PHS and we are delighted to see her tireless work being recognised.
Ryan Batty: Installer of the year
Dedication, hard work and a keen eye for detail. Ryan Batty demonstrates all these qualities and more in his work. He was fully deserving of the award for best installer of the year. His knowledge and commitment to quality align perfectly with what we expect at PHS, and we were delighted to see his work being recognised.
Going Forward
Behind the glamour and celebration of the evening, the event was a chance to remind ourselves of the importance of smart home technology, the role it plays in a greener future and the importance of being innovative in order to continue taking the industry forwards. The Switchee Awards Ceremony was as insightful as it was inspiring. And here at PHS, we take great pride in being a part of such an industry and find ourselves motivated by the recognition we received to continue to innovate and continue to set the highest possible standards in the smart home technology world!
